The District's Information Technology Division is comprised of fifteen employees and provides the following services to District personnel:

Applications and Database Development
This group designs and develops databases and applications in support of our internal clients in addition to developing the District's public and Intranet web sites. Many custom engineering applications have been developed including systems to track our bids and payment of our construction projects, flooding and illegal discharge complaints, and a system to track the status of Developer Projects.

Geographic Information Services
The District has been developing its Geographical Information System for almost twenty years. We have many layers completed including our facilities, flood zone, encroachment permits and many others. We currently utilize Oracle Spatial and Intergraph's GeoMedia products and offer GIS to every desktop at the District. Please visit our new Flood Zone determination web site for an example of our GIS section's work.
